Transfer Student - How Do I Pick Up Where I Left Off to Get My Certification?

Level 1 Peristeam Facilitator Certification:

If you are working on Level 1 certification there are now 9 courses instead of 3 and the price went from $397 to $1164.

The additional 6 courses were added to provide more support to practitioners so that they have all the necessary knowledge upon certification — for example, how to respond to critics. The good news — all these additional courses were given to you free of charge.

However, now in order to complete the certification you have to complete all 9 courses. They go in sequential order from one class to the next.

When you transfered over you may have already completed some of these courses. For any partially completed courses in coursecraft you do not have to start from scratch. Let us know where you were in the course and we will update it for you so you can pick up where you left off.

Level 2 Peristeam Hydrotherapist Certification:

If you are working on level 2 certification there are a couple of changes — the course codes have changed and the course order has changed. These should not impact you except for that now there is more of a focus on completing the program in sequential order. For any courses that you already enrolled in you will continue to have access. For any courses that you have not started yet you will need to go in sequential order.

Practice assignments and exams have also changed. I have eliminated the exams and practice assignments and replaced them with Practice User Scenarios where you get a chance to work out the steam plans for various different scenario clients rather than work with real people. This makes it so that you can complete all of the courses without needing to pause and work with clients.

Not all of your hands on experience goes out the door however. At the end of the program you will have a chance to get experience working with real clients during the practicum. Any practice clients you were working with before the switch to the Institute can be used at this time.
